San Francisco based an online news and social networking service, Twitter has recently announced Account Activity API for all the developers. The sources stated that company’s legacy services will stop working from August 16, 2018.
The social networking service announced the Account Activity Application Programming Interface last year to help developers to enable designers to assemble arrangements that empowered organizations to make better engagement experiences.
On Wednesday, the micro-blogging platform said, “Today we`re excited to announce the Account Activity API is now generally available to all developers through our developer portal.”
The social networking service, Twitter said in a statement, “We did so as part of our efforts to improve the developer experience and provide a sustainable way to help businesses engage with those looking to connect with them.”
Further, the company added, “As we retire aging APIs, we have no plans to add these capabilities to Account Activity API or create a new streaming service for related use cases.”
Aside from this thing, the social networking company’s CEO Jack Dorsey met with legislators from the House and Senate as the online networking organization ends up in the center tech approach talks about running from internet fairness and protection to decent variety in Silicon Valley.
The meeting happened a day after Senate Democrats, joined by three Republicans pushed through a measure that would invalidate the Federal Communication Commission’s annulment a year ago of internet fairness rules.
